Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-11-04
This policy explains what data the libraa.app website collects, why, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights. It covers the website, its waitlist and beta access requests.
Controller
The data controller is Emmanuel Neny, acting in the name and on behalf of T7 Studio, a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company (SASU) in the process of incorporation, with its registered office in Lyon, publisher of Libraa. Once registered, T7 Studio will take over this processing. Contact: [email protected].
Waitlist: data collected
When you join the waitlist, we store your email address (required) and, if you provide them, your Instagram account, your DJ software, your setup, your operating system and its version, and the free text you write.
We also store the site language at the time of sign-up (to write to you in that language), the date of your consent, the date you confirmed your address and a fingerprint of your IP address (a derived value from which the address itself cannot be read), used only to limit abusive sign-ups.
Waitlist: purposes and legal basis
Your data is used to let you know when Libraa opens: an email in January 2027 with the free trial link and the launch price, and possibly a reminder before that price ends. Optional answers help us understand DJs' needs, as overall statistics.
This processing is based on your consent, given by ticking the box on the form and then confirmed by email: right after you sign up, we send you an email with a confirmation link. Until you click that link, you will receive no other email from us. This double opt-in ensures nobody can sign up your address in your place.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, using the unsubscribe link included in every email or by writing to us. The IP fingerprint is based on our legitimate interest in protecting the form against spam.
Our emails contain no trackers: we measure neither whether they are opened nor clicks on their links.
Your data is never sold, rented or used for advertising.
Waitlist: retention
An unconfirmed sign-up is deleted after 14 days.
A confirmed sign-up is kept until 12 months after the opening email, then deleted. It is deleted immediately if you unsubscribe before then.
Beta: access requests
The beta access request page collects the same information as the waitlist, along with the date of your consent and a fingerprint of your IP address. It is used only to process your request and to reply to you by email.
This processing is based on your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. Your request is kept until the end of the beta, then deleted; it is deleted immediately if you ask us to.
Recipients and hosting
Only the publisher of Libraa has access to your data. It is processed by technical providers acting on our instructions:
• DigitalOcean (servers in Frankfurt, Germany), which hosts the website and our servers; • Cloudflare, for secure delivery of the website and the backup copy of our data; • Resend, which sends our emails (sign-up confirmation, opening email) from servers in Ireland; • Migadu (Switzerland), which hosts our mailbox: it processes your messages if you write to us.
DigitalOcean, Cloudflare and Resend are US companies: any transfer of data outside the European Union is covered by the safeguards provided by the GDPR (the European Commission's standard contractual clauses). Switzerland benefits from an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
Audience measurement
To know how many people visit the site, where they come from and how many join the waitlist, we use Plausible Analytics, a tool hosted in the European Union.
Plausible sets no cookies and keeps no data that could identify you: it only produces overall statistics (page views, referring site, country, device type). Under the French data protection authority's (CNIL) guidelines, this measurement does not require your consent.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies. The dismissal of the info banner is stored in your browser's local storage; the site language is simply part of the page address (/fr/, /en/).
This storage is strictly functional: it never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and you can withdraw your consent at any time (unsubscribing from the waitlist, deleting your optional answers).
To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]: we reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr) or your local data protection authority.
Changes
This policy is updated whenever the data collected or our providers change, and when T7 Studio is registered. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
